Vai Performance is proud to be able to support local paddlers and events. 

 Kong Teck Lee:  Vaikobi, Tai Paddles.

Kong is the first Asia-based Puakea Team Rider and has represented Singapore in both the IVF World Sprints Championships in London 2022 and World Distance Championships in Samoa 2023. In Samoa, he became the first Singaporean to achieve a Top 10 placing in the Open Men V1 category. He has maintained an unbeaten track record in Singapore for over 2 years and consistently placed among top paddlers in downwind races such as Hong Kong Dragon Run and The Doctor in Perth.

In Dec 2023, he won the Asian Cup Ocean Canoe competition in Hong Kong after a double win at the Singapore Ocean Cup in both OC1 Men and OC6 Men categories. 

As a coach, Kong has worked with paddlers from various sporting backgrounds, experience levels and ages, with a coaching philosophy rooted in improvement of paddling efficiency and race mentality..
